DAVE NASSANEY
DAVE NASSANEY is a speaker, syndicated radio host, life-coach and best-selling author of, “It’s My Life, Too! Thrive and Stay Alive as a Caregiver.” However, his most important role is caregiver to his lovely wife, Charlene, who suffered a massive stroke in 1996 that left her severely speech-impaired and paralyzed on the right side.
Dave has recently appeared on 34 network morning shows from Washington DC to Hawaii, has shared the stage with Suzanne Somers at Harvard, and Caitlyn Jenner (yes, THAT Caitlyn), at The Harvard Club of Boston, as well as the Nasdaq Market site in NYC. His membership website, CaregiverDave.com, teaches caregivers how to not only survive, but to thrive with practical advice and tools to help them stay alive, since 30% of caregivers actually die before their loved one’s do, while many more become sicker than the ones they care for, eventually needing a caregiver themselves. There is also a higher incidence of suicide among caregivers.
The mission of Caregiver Dave’s membership website and syndicated radio show, heard in all 50 state and 135 countries, is to help caregivers overcome adversity, the grief process, and burnout — as well as just having a safe place to rest, relax & recharge their batteries in a loving community of caring caregivers. We understand what you are going through, because we have all been there ourselves and have figured out how to not only stay alive, but how to thrive! Dave interviews actual caregivers on his radio show who have become experts in their field, and can give you actionable and practical advice to bring back the joy of caring for a loved one. If needed, Dave also offers a package of coaching calls that will give you access to his wisdom. Learn more at www.CaregiverDave.com

I've always loved hammocks for as long as I can remember. I would usually solve the world’s problems (and sometimes my own) while lying on my hammock as I pray, meditate, and gain wisdom from above. On July 30, 2017, it finally occurred to me that I was being very selfish in keeping all this wisdom to myself, so I began filming my popular, "5 Minutes of Dave's Hammock Wisdom" video series. After producing a couple hundred, I then realized that not everyone had access to the internet to benefit from them. That’s when I decided to share with the rest of the world my "Secrets from the Hammock, Uncommon Wisdom for Uncommon Times" that I've acquired over the decades. Thus, my fourth book was born.
We humans can absorb only so much wisdom in one sitting -- each chapter is packed with so much, that it requires focus for proper implementation. Wisdom can only change your life if you allow it to marinate into your soul throughout the day. One nugget of wisdom is more than enough for you to chew on at any one moment. If you find something that speaks to you, stop reading and contemplate on it for a while. Think of ways to implement it before reading more.
Many decisions we make today do not seem wise by historical standards. Education can come from our parents, schools, and universities. “Street” wisdom can come from the “hood,” but I believe true wisdom comes from God. King Solomon wrote: “Wisdom is mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge than he who has strength.”
Wisdom is to be greatly desired, or else she will not reward us.
